2016 Wrap-up
2016 has certainly flown by with some really satisfying progress on a number of fronts. The publication of the 2nd edition of the Guide to Youth Mentoring in May was a real highlight, followed by our National Youth Mentoring Conference in June. And thanks to the support of The Tindall Foundation, we have had the absolute pleasure of workiing with many of you at our regional workshops held around the country during the latter part of the year. These have been all about introducing the revised Guide and giving everyone the opportunity to meet others in their region who are working with young people in a mentoring capacity.
We are very much looking forward to continuing to work with you in the New Year with a further 10 regional workshops planned. The schedule will be published in late January.
As the year draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your continued support and for sharing your knowledge and experience so that the entire youth mentoring sector can benefit.
We wish you and your whanau a safe and happy summer holidays. We hope that you will have a chance to relax and reflect on the year that has been and look forward to the year ahead.
We will sign off for now with a couple of special photos from our recent workshops.
